Gracie & Willow
Gracie
Gracie is a lynx-point domestic shorthair tabby cat available for adoption at Catoro Cafe in East Vancouver. She is bonded with Willow and they must be adopted together.
This cinnamon roll is a bit of a wallflower when it comes to crowds and strangers, but with people she knows she is an incredibly loving and sweet cat. Gracie is normally quiet, but when it comes to treats she will chase you down and holler! She's a total lap cat who loves to purr and rub on you whenever you sit down, and loves to flop over to have her squishy belly rubbed. Gracie can be quite playful sometimes and will chase her favourite wand toys through tunnels and under chairs.
Gracie came to us quite overweight but has slimmed down to a healthy weight. Future adopters will need to keep an eye on her food intake.
Gracie's date of birth is estimated to be 2021.
Willow
Willow is a grey domestic shorthair cat available for adoption at Catoro Cafe in East Vancouver. She is bonded with Gracie and they must be adopted together.
Willow is a talkative mama. She has an interesting meow that sounds more like a croak. She likes to talk about a lot of things that are interesting. Her favourite topics of discussion are “where are the snacks?” and “why aren’t you petting me?” Willow is bonded with Gracie, her daughter. The two don’t like to share food, but will share a bed. Willow loves to hunt a laser dot and while she doesn't often ask for pets herself, she loves to rub against and purr alongside her favourite humans when they approach her. Willow does NOT like other cats and will only tolerate Gracie.
Willow is overweight and currently resembles the shape of a basketball instead of the shape of a cat. While her bloodwork has come back all clear, senior cats with obesity can face health risks including arthritis, diabetes, and more - so her future adopter will have to be very careful about continuing a diet and exercise regime for her and Gracie. She has slowly lost some weight while at Catoro and is on a good trajectory to being her best senior self.
Willow's date of birth is estimated to be 2013.
Good with cats: No
Good with dogs: Unknown
Good with kids: Maybe older children, but the two would thrive with adults as both are not afraid to set boundaries and are easily stressed when they are ignored.
