Mystery

Mystery is a domestic shorthair tuxedo cat available for adoption at Catoro Cat Cafe in East Vancouver. 

Mystery came to us as a stray in December 2024. He was found in the alley behind Catoro Cafe with a huge clot of blood over one of his eyes in very serious condition. We rushed this skinny, scared stray cat to the emergency vet to get him the care he desperately needed. Luckily, his eye was discovered in perfect condition. However,  was severely anemic and required an urgent blood transfusion to save his life. He was in very critical condition for several days but luckily he is a fighter and his health started to slowly improve.

After a total of 8 nights at the emergency vet, Mystery was discharged and placed in a medical foster so he could recover. He was only 3.12 kg, which was very underweight for his frame. 

As we have gotten to know Mystery, it breaks our hearts to know how hard his life was. He is the most sweet, gentle and affectionate cat. He is a love bug who wants to snuggle with you and have his belly rubbed. Any adopter would be lucky to welcome Mystery into their family.
